It’s December and soon 2018 will come to an end — never to come again. Do you ever wonder where your time went and what you did?
If you could look back at 2018 — what would you say were your fruits?
“On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month.” Rev. 22:2
I like the picture here in the book of Revelation — the tree of life yielding its fruit every month. What if we looked at our lives as such — your tree of life? What has it borne?
If you’re like me, you might struggle to come up with specific fruits for each month for this past year. My life has often felt like a carriage pulled by wild horses and I’m just hanging on for dear life.
Moses advises us, “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Ps. 90:12
I want my life to count for eternity, and I believe you do too.
This is the heart behind the Life Book Journals — to help us make the most of the one precious life God has given us — whether that is through writing, entrepreneurship, missionary work, homemaking or whatever else God has called us to.
The Life Book Journal goes beyond time management and setting goals. It’s aimed to help you look at your life as a story. Whether we realize or not, we are writing our life story everyday we wake up. What kind of a story are you writing?
It’s that time of the year when many of us buy new life planners, set goals and make resolutions. This year why not write a new story — a better story? Why not try the Life Book Journal for a month and use it to change your life?
The pages of the the Life Book Journal are filled with truth — God’s truth to keep you anchored in the path that leads to God’s Kingdom. When you sign up — you will receive 12 individual books — one for each month of the year. It combines journaling, monthly fruit planning and organizing your day-to-day life. In short, it’s a tool to help us look at our lives with eternity in mind.
You only pass this way once
Because we only pass this way once. Unlike money, you can never earn back the time you’ve spent.
What we do today, this moment matters. I believe that each of our dreams to write, to create matters to God and He wants to help us.
Now, I know that this journal may not be for everyone — and that’s okay. But maybe, just maybe it helps you live out your life calling in a greater way — imagine the impact it will have on you, on your loved ones and the Kingdom of God?
This one life we’ve been given is an indescribable gift. Let’s embrace it with grateful hearts and live each moment for all its worth. The beauty of it is — only you can live it — only you can write your story.
