We are made new
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Cor. 5:17, ESV
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Gal. 2:20 ESV
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lam. 3:22-23 NIV
My past does not define me. In Christ, I am a new creation. I no longer live but Christ lives in me. Yesterday is gone and so are all my mistakes, my failures and sins. Each new day is an opportunity to begin again and walk with Jesus.
